Currently used alumina zirconia carbon slide plates are traditional carbon bonding refractory, although they feature in excellent thermal shock resistance and high mechanical strength, carbon is vulnerable to oxidization when casting special steels, so slide plate structure will become loose, strength will descend and sliding zone can’t be tightly closed. Therefore, on the basis of traditional unburned high performance sliding plates, composite carbon and composite antioxidant are adopted in our new developed high performance slide plate. Thermal shock stability and sliding zone stripping resistance of traditional unburned high performance slide plates are improved.
1. Slide plate carbon content is low, oxidization caused large area scratch seldom happens, so it is more suitable for low carbon steel and ultra low carbon steel casting.
2. Slide plate has high mechanical strength at high temperature, multi times continuous sliding caused dilatation is reduced.
3. Good thermal shock resistance. Stripping phenomenon is avoided, there is only small crack, steel casting safety is ensured.
4. Special composite carbon is adopted, oil impregnation procedure is avoided, working environment is improved.
